Concerts at Maschinenhaus / Improvisation & Sound Art

Berlin's Trio Denseland will kick off this series of concerts featuring improvised music. Consisting of the singer and percussion virtuoso David Moss, the bassist Hannes Strobl, and the electronica musician and drummer Hanno Leichtmann, Denseland plays acoustic landscapes, tells unknown stories and collides unlikely beats. They generate a universe expanding in sound in which Moss' vocals plays on a rhythmic surface created by Strobl and Leichtmann and whose intensity and energy feeds on a reduction of means.
