KConcerts at Maschinenhaus / Improvisation & Sound Art

To conclude the series at Maschinenhaus, Lebanese sound artist Tarek Atoui will present a new site specific piece deriving from his ongoing research and work in sound performance. In his contrasts, he creates sound spaces full of breaks, cuts and contrasts. What emerges are complex mixtures of loud noise, digital rhythms, abstract beats. His samples come from all over the world, from past and present, mixing voices, radio, sound from TV shows, snippets of popular music, and so much more: a laptop virtuoso.
