Olivier Renouf

After training as a psychologist, then as a dancer, Olivier Renouf approaches sound creation by attending the class of electroacoustic music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
He has collaborated or still collaborates with the choreographers : Georges Appaix, Boris Charmatz, Paco Decina, Herman Diephuis, Odile Duboc, Latifa Laâbissi, Alain Michard, Mathilde Monnier, Emmanuelle Huynh, Martine Pisani and the directors : Hubert Colas, Serge Hureau, Daniel Janneteau, François-Michel Pesenti, Christian Schiaretti.
He takes part in the creation of multimedia installations with the group Dunes and Le Hall de la chanson, and invents sound environments for museums and exhibitions.
He collaborates with Boris Charmatz for Aatt enen tionon in 1996, herses (une lente introduction) in 1997, Con forts fleuve in 1999, héâtre-élévision in 2002, Quintette Cercle in 2006, La danseuse malade in 2008, 50 ans de danse in 2009, Levée des conflits in 2010 and enfant in 2011.
For the Dancing Museum, Olivier Renouf has created the sound environment of the happening étrangler le temps (April 2009, Le Garage, Rennes, as part of the Dancing Museum's prefiguration) ; and has taken part in the creation of Petit Projet de la matière, a project by Anne-Karine Lescop.
