Jean-Pierre Criqui
Jean-Pierre Criqui, art historian and art critic, is director of the program for conferences and symposia at Centre Pompidou, Paris, where he is also editorin- chief of the journal Les Cahiers du Musée national d'art moderne. The author of numerous essays on contemporary art, several of which were published in the volume Un trou dans la vie: Essais sur l'art depuis 1960 (2002), he has repeatedly explored the work of Christian Marclay, most recently in the catalogs Replay Marclay (Musée de la Musique, Paris 2007), Christian Marclay : Festival (Whitney Museum, New York, 2010) and Christian Marclay : Fourth of July (Paula Cooper Gallery, New York 2010).
