RuhrTriennale Production »Le vin herbé« at the Opéra de Lyon
Frank Martin's staged Oratorium Le vin herbé directed by Willy Decker was the opening production of the RuhrTriennale 2007 and has now been invited to the Opéra de Lyon in January 2009. This much-acclaimed production will have four performances (24, 26, 28 and 30 January 2009).
As in the premiere at the Gebläsehalle in Duisburg, the lovers Tristan and Iseut will be sung by Sinéad Mulhern und Finnur Bjarnason, the musical director is Friedemann Layer. This guest-perfomance is part of the Saison France. More information: www.opera-lyon.com.
