Technophonic
Francesco Tristano began studying classical piano at the age of five. During his training at the famous Juilliard School he discovered another passion. In his wanderings through the New York night he discovered a love of club culture. Since then he has collaborated with leading figures from the techno scene and sought out new forms of synergy between acoustic and digital sound production.
In his second concert the pianist invites two legends of contemporary electronic music together for a summit. Carl Craig was one of the founders of the Detroit techno scene. Moritz von Oswald is the eminence grise of dub and minimal techno in Germany.
Guided by Francesco Tristano’s limitless enthusiasm, this trio will celebrate their own compositions and hand-picked club classics and transform the concert hall into a heaving dancefloor.
