Junge Triennale

The Junge Triennale picks up on this season’s theme of Buddhism and is pleased to present three exciting projects which take different artistic approaches to this great culture and making it accessible to young people.

In the productions of Anima and Gautama in luck a young girl and a young man each start their own search for answers to what they feel are the most important questions in life: where does the soul go after death? And: what is the true nature of human happiness?

Our family celebration Now and Here in the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum takes place under the sign of change. Everything is understood to be in transition. What better example is there than the Jahrhunderthalle itself, which was an enormously loud power plant transforming energy 40 years ago and whose very special beauty becomes apparent where its origins can still be traced?

In our weekend workshop Klangsprünge III the focus will lie for a few hours on the intensive work of children between the ages of 5 and 10 with a very special artist.

We look forward to welcoming all our visitors, both large and small, old and young, especially to the family celebration in the Jahrhunderthalle on 18th September from 11am to 6pm!
