Everything that Happened and Would Happen

HEINER GOEBBELS
23 Aug
26 Aug

In response and reflection on the destructive history of Europe over the last hundred years, composer and theatremaker Heiner Goebbels presents his latest work in which music, light, movement, language, objects and film are combined in a single multi-media performance. Everything that Happened and Would Happen takes inspiration from three sources: the text of Euro peana by Patrik Ouředník, stage sets and objects from Heiner Goebbels’ production of John Cage’s Europeras 1 & 2, and No Comment – news images of the day shown without commentary from the broadcaster Euronews.
