Now and Here - Family Festival

Ehi Passiko, come here and look, says Buddha. And that’s what we’re saying to you too. Now and here you can learn tai-chi with your grandparents, dance in giant stick calligraphies with your brothers and sisters, construct a vast relief on the square outside the Jahrhunderthalle, destroy it again – and thereby allow something new to be created. Because everything is in a state of change. Do you want to draw with sand, fly flags or paint with white paint on white paper? Then come and make your mark with us on this special day at the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum and change the moment! No matter how old you are or where you come from, we would like to make a gift to you of this special day. Now and here you can gather new impressions and leave them behind, free yourself from destructive thoughts and for a few moments make something great happen within something small. Concentrate on the moment. If you don’t see or hear anything for a few moments, afterwards you will be able to see with different eyes, look at exhibitions or experience a very special performance of Siddhartha. So come, bring your parents or grandparents with you and look.

Calling all school groups In order to put together the photography exhibition Buddha Arrives, which will be shown on the internet as well as at the family festival, we are looking for school groups who will go on photographic journeys in advance equipped with cameras and small Buddhas. The concept paper and an introduction are available now via the Junge Triennale.
