Wolfgang Michael
Wolfgang Michael was born in Heinsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia and trained as an actor at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. His first theatre engagements led him to the Schauspiel in Bremen and the Nationaltheater in Mannheim. From 1987 to 1993 he was a permanent member of the ensemble of the Schauspielhaus Bochum. In 1993 he went to the Berliner Schaubühne and in 1999 to the Burgtheater in Vienna. During his career he was worked with directors such as Andrea Breth, Peter Mussbach, Frank-Patrick Steckel, Jürgen Gosch, Dimiter Gotscheff und Andreas Kriegenburg. From the beginning of the 2009/2010 season he will be a permanent member of the ensemble of the Schauspiel in Friankfurt.
