Žana Marović

Blending her interests in science and art with that of video editing in film and television, Sarajevo-born Žana Marović settled in Johannesburg in 1995. She gained experience by working on various television productions from documentaries to feature films, including award-winning wildlife feature films by the acclaimed National Geographic filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert. In 2011 she became involved in the creative process on projects and installations by William Kentridge, including Refuse the Hour, The Refusal of Time, O Sentimental Machine, Notes towards the Model Opera, Second Hand Reading, Lulu, Wozzeck, The Head and the Load, among others.
