Antje Ehmann
Antje Ehmann, curator, author and artist, realized numerous exhibitions, artistic projects and publications on the history of film and urban development. She curates the exhibition Kino wie noch nie (with Harun Farocki) for Generali Foundation in Vienna, 2006, Harun Farocki. 22 films, 1968-2009, Tate Modern, London, 2009 (with Stuart Comer and Kodwo Eshun), and The Image in Question. War – Media – Art at the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts, Cambridge/Mass. 2010. Her artistic contributions to Shrinking Cities, Berlin 2004 and X-Wohnungen, Johannesburg 2010 focus on the transformation processes in the urban area. Ehmann is co-author of Geschichte des Dokumentarischen Films in Deutschland, Volume 2, Weimarer Republik, Stuttgart 2005, a book that describes the development of documentary film in close context to the German history.
