An Unguided Tour - About the Ruhrtriennale programme 2013

Heiner Goebbels, artistic director of Ruhrtriennale 2012 – 2014, is going to present the programme of this year’s festival season ( 23 August to 6 October). The presentation will also give an insight into his experience of working with the invited contemporary artists of performing and fine arts. The audience is sincerely invited to pose questions.

Composer and director Heiner Goebbels, born 1952, is one of the most important protagonists of the international music and theatre scene. In his works he makes music visible, space audible and provides an experience of text that is clever through its simplicity. In 2012 he receives the International Ibsen Award, one of the world’s most prestigious theatre prizes. In 2013 two productions directed by him will be shown at Ruhrtriennale: Stifters Dinge and as opening premiere Harry Partchs opera Delusion of the Fury.
