For Ruhrtriennale 2012, Chor- Werk Ruhr prepares a choral concert with one of the key works from Luigi Nono's final phase of creation, Das atmende Klarsein for small chorus, bass flute, and live electronics. Nono's compositions will be preceded by selections from the Late Books of Madrigals (1611) by Carlo Gesualdo di Venosa (1566 - 1613). A setting of Petrarch's Canzone 126 by Swedish composer Lars Johan Werle (1926 - 2001) completes the program.
