With ecstatic, rhythmic music, the Boredoms are a ritual space shuttle that starts where rock music left off. With electronic music, psychedelic elements, and a ›sevena‹, the Boredoms have been earning a reputation as esoteric noise-art musicians in the experimental rock scene ever since the 1990s. Boredoms promises to be a very special concert experience. In the nocturnal lunar landscape of Halde Haniel in Bottrop, percussionists from the Metropole Ruhr, the U.S., and Japan will perform at the Bergarena: at the center, the Boredoms, a trio featuring Japanese shamanistic vocalist and performer Eye.
