Mark Sanders
Mark Sanders has played with most of the UK`s major improvisers including Derek Bailey, Paul Rutherford, Lol Coxhill, Phil Wachsmann, Elton Dean, Howard Riley and Keith Tippett. He has also played with Matana Roberts, Roswell Rudd, Mathew Shipp, Tim Berne, Okkyung Lee, Craig Taborn, Peter Brötzmann, Peter Evans, Lotte Anker, Mark Dresser, Otomo Yoshihide, John Tchicai, in duo and quartets with Leo Smith and trios with Charles Gayle with Sirone, William Parker and Gerald Benson. With Ken Vandermark he has toured the UK with Barry Guy and Brazil with Luc Ex. With Evan Parker he has played in Europe the USA and Canada. A member of many groups including working in duos with John Butcher, DJ Sniff and Gail Brand The Deep Whole Trio with Paul Dunmall and Paul Rogers, trio with Myra Melford and Chris Batchelor, in the groups of Mikolaj Trzaska, and as rhythm section with John Edwards for many UK and visiting musicians.
