Ilse Eerens

Soprano Ilse Eerens graduated in 2004 with Jard van Nes. Recently she sang Valencienne in Léhar's Lustige Witwe at Alden Biesen, Belgium. Future engagements: Cunning Little Vixen in Lyon in 2012, CD recording of Dvořák's Stabat Mater with Philippe Herreweghe, Reprises of Lady Sarashina by Eötvös in Warsaw and Le Grand Macabre by Ligeti in Brussels. Ilse Eerens sang Yniold in Debussy's Pelléas et Mèlisande, Jemmy in Rossini's Guillaume Tell and the roles of Zima and Phani in Rameau's Les Indes Galantes. Recently she made her successful debut at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Kitchenboy in Dvoák Rusalka. Other roles were Noemi in Massenet's Cendrillon, Antigone in Martinus Oedipe, Blumenmädchen/Knappe in Wagner's Parsifal, Amanda in Ligeti's Le Grand Macabre and Zerlina in Don Giovanni.
In 2009 she sang Ein junges Mädchen and Erste Nackte Jungfrau in Moses und Aron at the Ruhrtriennale.
