Éric Wurtz

After a graphic's experience in press and publishing activities, Éric Wurtz turned towards stage lighting in 1983. His original approach to the light brings him to collaborate with choreographers among the most innovative of the choreographic language in the 80's, in particular: Trisha Brown, Lucinda Childs, Francois Chaignaud et Cecilia Bengolea, Philippe Decouflé, La Ribot, François Verret and with Mathilde Monnier on the whole of her production. During his many interventions in the performing arts, note his work in theater and opera with: Maurice Benichou, Philippe Genty, Alain Maratrat, Camila Saraceni and its interventions abroad to Boyzie Cekwana, John Scott and Sarah Rudner. Through these creations he takes part in this evolution which makes the lighting, a determining's element for the performance.
He has conceived the lighting of : the closing ceremony of the Fiftieth anniversary of unloading in Normandie (Caen, 1994), Toki Shisui's fashion parades, "Giappone in Italia 95/96" (Naples), opening World Cup Football (Paris, 1998), Al Janadriyah opening of the festival, (Riad, 2001).
