Andres Lepik

Andres Lepik, born in Augsburg in 1961, is a professor for architectural history and curating at Munich's Technische Universität and the new director of that city's Architekturmuseum, Pinakothek der Moderne. From 2004 to 2007, he was director of the architecture collection of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries at Kunstbibliothek, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. From 2007 to 2010 he was curator at Museum of Modern Art, New York, where his shows included Small Scale, Big Change: New Architectures of Social Engagement. Since 2011, he has been writing for the architecture and design magazine Domus, and he has been coeditor of Candide: Journal for Architectural Knowledge since 2012. In 2012, he curated the exhibition Participation: Empowerment in Practice at the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University. Lepik is the editor of Moderators of Change: Architektur, die hilft (Ostfildern, 2012).
