Alan Tomlinson
Alan Tomlinsonworked professionally in most areas of music. Active in European improvised music scene since early 80's, with festivals and broadcasts in most European countries, he was a long-time member of Barry Guy's Loulou Jazz composers orchestra. Alan works with his own trio, another in Berlin and an occasionalduo with the Romanian Poet Virgil Mihaiu. Alan is a member of the contemporary music groups Sounds Positive and New London Wind Ensemble. He has given several first performances of solo pieces written for him both on alto and tenor trombones.
