NRW.BANK is a supporter of the Ruhrtriennale.  As a sponsoring bank for North Rhine-Westphalia, the NRW.BANK, like the Festival, forms a bridge between the traditional and the modern, between industry and culture. Since 2005, the NRW.BANK together with the Ruhrtriennale, has been behind the Innovationspool, a competition aimed at young, innovative people that helps support their creativity.  And so in a very specific way, the leitmotif of the bank is connected to the creative potential of the Festival. This year the competition is based on the medium of film, following on from photography, design and journalism in previous years.
