Zeljo Davutovic

The artistic direction of the CHORAKADEMIE lies in the hands of Zeljo Davutovic.  He studied church music, choral direction and harpsichord in Weimar.  His training was completed with numerous courses in choral direction and organ.  Together with Lars Kersting he has been artistic dirctor of the CHORAKADEMIE since its foundation in April 2002.  Zeljo Davutovic is also responsible for directing the girls’ choir, the opera’s children’s chorus and the youth chamber choir.
