Vladimir Ivanoff
Born in Bulgaria, Vladimir Ivanoff studied Musicology, Art History and Theatre Studies in Munich and the Renaissance lute in Karlsruhe and Basel. He has taught at a series of universities since 1985, lectured at symposia and congresses and published articles in a number of professional journals. As a CD producer, musical director, composer and arranger he has worked with countless artists from a wide range of areas including; Mystère des Voix Bulgares, Concerto Köln, The King's Singers and the Berlin Philharmonic. As musical director of the intercultural ensemble Sarband he has performed concerts around the world and published numerous CDs since 1986.
