Pierre Audi
Pierre Audi grew up in Beirut in the Lebanon, where he was born, and in Paris. He founded the Almeida Theatre in London in 1979 together with its Festival of Contemporary Music, which he ran until 1989. Since 1988 he has been Artistic Director of the Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam. Guest productions have taken the multi award-winning director to Sydney, Los Angeles, München, Salzburg, Brüssel and Paris. Since 2004 he has also been Artistic Director of the Holland Festival.
