Jan Bosse
Jan Bosse studied theatre direction at the Ernst Busch High School for Performing Arts in Berlin until 1997. Productions followed in Berlin, at the Wiener Festwochen, the Münchner Kammerspiele and from 2000 to 2005 at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg under Tom Stromberg including Faust I. He directed at Schauspielhaus Zürich including Hamlet, at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and at the Vienna Burgtheater including Much Ado About Nothing and Othello. Since the 2007/2008 season Jan Bosse has been resident director at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, where his productions have included Werther and Peer Gynt.
