Felicitas Brucker

completed courses in Theatre Studies, Literature and Communications Sciences in Munich and Directing at Goldsmiths College, London.  With her world premiere production of Engel by Anja Hilling at the Münchner Kammerspielen she was invited to the Festival Radikal Jung at the Munich Volkstheater in 2007.  Her subsequent productions include Ulrike Maria Stuart by Elfriede Jelinek at Schauspiel Hannover, Lilja 4-ever after the novel of the same name by Lukas Moodysson at the Maxim Gorki Theater, Berlin, Break of Noon by Paul Claudel at the National Theatre in Athens co-directed with Jossi Wieler and Herztier after Herta Müller at the Maxim Gorki Theater, Berlin.  In 2007 she was awarded the emerging artist prize for performing arts of the Kunstpreis Berlin.At the Vienna Schauspielhaus Felicitas Brucker has directed world premieres of Ewald Palmetshofer’s hamlet ist tot. keine schwerkraft and faust hat hunger und verschluckt sich an einer grete.
