Elisabeth Orth
The Austrian Kammerschauspielerin and Bavarian Staatsschauspielerin (Actress of State) Elisabeth Orth was born in Vienna and trained at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. She held engagements at Ulm City Theatres, the Vienna Burgtheater, the Renaissance Theater Berlin and the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin. Since 1999 Orth has been a permanent member of the acting company at the Vienna Burgtheater. She has received numerous prizes and awards and can also be seen in a variety of television and film roles. She has performed several parts in Ruhrtriennale productions and in 2009 read texts by Else Lasker-Schüler in Ein Fetzen Paradies.
