Andreas Grüter
comes from Luzern and studied lighting design at the Bavarian Theatre Academy in Munich. He has developed the lighting for numerous productions including Company at the Prinzregententheater Munich, Elementarteilchen at the Bavarian State Theatre Munich, Lucrezia Borgia at the Opéra Marseille, Idomeneo at the Theater an der Wien and My Fair Lady at the Admiralspalast Berlin. He has been a regular collaborator of the director and choreographer Joachim Schlömer since 2002 and since 2006/07 he has worked permanently for PVC Tanz Freiburg/Heidelberg. Grüter designed the lighting for Willy Decker’s production of Le vin herbé and Katharina Wagner’s production of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.
