Akram Khan Company

The company is funded by the Arts Council and tours Great Britain and internationally.  It has appeared at leading international festivals and received numerous awards including the Laurence Olivier Award for zero degrees (2006) and the South Bank Show Award for bahok (2009).  In 2007 zero degrees won the prize for Best Choreography in Dance Work at the Helpman Awards in Australia, and Akram Khan himself won the prize for Best Male Dancer.
