Gurpreet Sing erhält seine Ausbildung an der London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Seine bisherigen Theaterengagements beinhalten: Nation (National Theatre), White Open Spaces (Pentabus), Zameen (Kali Theatre Company/Soho Theatre), Twelfth Night and As You Like It (Royal Shakespeare Company), Orientations (Border Crossings), Bombay Dreams (Victoria Apollo), East Is East (New Vic Theatre), Othello (Leicester Haymarket). Im Bereich Film und Fernsehen tritt er in All About Me (Celador), Murder In Mind and Casualty (BBC) und Sari and Trainers (Channel 4 Film) auf.
