Wim Vandekeybus
Wim Vandekeybus is a director, choreographer, actor and photographer. After working for two years with Jan Fabre he formed his own company, Ultima Vez. He received the Bessie Award for their first performance, What the Body Does Not Remember, which premiered in 1987. Since then he has created numerous internationally successful productions and has worked repeatedly with world-class musicians. With its radical forms of physical expression, Ultima Vez has set new standards in contemporary dance. At the beginning of 2009, the company was re-configured with three female and five male performers.
