Markus Stockhausen
Trumpeter and composer Markus Stockhausen was born in 1957 and for many years worked closely together with his father, the composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, who wrote many works for him. Today Markus Stockhausen gives concerts interntationally, mainly of his own music. He composes, he runs the concert series of intuitive music and light Klangvisionen in Cologne together with Rolf Zavelberg, he part of the duo Moving Sounds with Tara Bouman, and plays as a duo with guitarist Ferenc Snétberger, in the trio Lichtblick with Angelo Comisso and Christian Thomé, and with international musicians in his latest group Eternal Voyage.
