Maria Ribot
Born in Madrid, the artist Maria Ribot has become known for her widely acclaimed dance performances, under the name La Ribot (Spain/Switzerland). Ribot lived for several years in London before moving to Geneva in 2004. Her productions represent a hybrid between dance, live art, performance and video. In the past ten years she has developed a demanding and humorous movement vocabulary through her series, distinguished pieces.
