Gunnar Brandt-Sigurdsson
Gunnar Brandt-Sigurdsson completed a professional training as voice and breath therapist in 1994 and as a recording technician in 1996. He studied from 1996-2001 with Professor Maria Kowollik (Hochschule für Künste Bremen, Germany). Certified as both a classical and contemporary teacher and singer (tenor and countertenor) he sings mainly in the context of contemporary composition (Samir Odeh-Tamimi, Christoph Ogiermann, Alison Isadora). From 2002 to 2004 he worked at the College of Music Bremen as teacher for individual singing lessons. From 2005 to 2007 he worked at the University of Bremen as lecturer for music and multi-media. In the VocaalLAB Nederland (Dir. Romain Bischoff) he has worked from 2007 on, in six productions.
