Dominique Fabrègue
Dominique Fabrègue choose to work in the theatre costume area. With Geneviève Sevin Doering, she learnt the method of a one piece cut. In 1982, she entered the dance universe with Michèle Ettori and Jackie Taffanel (choreographers in Montpellier) who entrusted her with the creation of their pieces' costumes. In 1985, she met Dominique Bagouet and a great complicity began. From that moment on, they closely cooperated on the costume creation throughout the complete works of the choreographer. In the same way, she joined the artistic teams of Michel Kelemenis, Geneviève Sorin for a few creations. From 1992 to 1996, she continued her work of costume creation alongside Odile Duboc, Retour de scène, Projet de la matière, Pour mémoire, Primum saltare, Brins d'histoires, Les trois boléros ; Hervé Robbe, De humani corpore, Factory, Impressions of a trip, Id ; Christian Bourigault, Matériaux désir and Michèle Rust, Encore. Her creations also led her to theatre where she made costumes for producers such as Alain Neddam, Alain Olivier, Catherine Marnas and Nelly Borgeaud ; to cinema with a short film of Guillemette Grobon (1996) ; and to contemporary music with Marc Monnet, Patrice Hamel.She has taken part in the exhibition and catalogue of "costumes à danser" (commission members : Carole Rambaud and Geneviève Vincent) at the Boulogne Billancourt cultural centre.
Mathilde Monnier has appealed her in 1997, to create costumes in Arrêtez, arrêtons, arrete, then for the common project with François Verret, Claudine Brahem, Jean-Pierre Drouet, Qui voyez-vous?
