Chorwerk Ruhr
Since its foundation in 1999, Chorwerk Ruhr has gathered a pool of around 180 singers and together they have created 45 projects, resulting in more than 100 concerts and performances. From 1999 to 2003 Frieder Bernius led the ensemble, whilst from 2003 until 2008 the choir collaborated with a variety of major conductors. Since 2008 the ensemble has been led by Rupert Huber. As in previous years, the ChorWerk Ruhr is once again participating in this season’s Ruhrtriennale.
