Beate Baron
The director Beate Baron was born in Bielefeld, and studied directing in Hamburg and Berlin. While still studying she began to work as a video artist, producing a variety of video compositions and performances. As opera director she has directed at Theater Aachen and the Neuköllner Oper in Berlin. With her installation, Rigolator, Beate Baron won the Komischen Oper Berlin special prize in the international directing competition, Ring Award 08.
