Rosanne Cash

Rosanne Cash has released 14 albums over the past 30 years. She recorded her breakthrough album Seven Year Ache in 1981. During the 80s she had several number one hits in the country charts and in 1985 she won a Grammy for the »Best Female Country Song Performance«. Her albums from the 90s are strongly autobiographical in nature. Rosanne Cash, the daughter of Johnny Cash, has always pushed the boundaries of country music and so has worked with artists such as Jakob Dylan from the Wallflowers, Joe Henry, Marc Cohn and Lyle Lovett. As a songwriter she has developed her own distrinctive voice. Alongside her music, Cash publishes children’s books, short stories and essays.
