Louise Lecavalier

Louise Lecavalier was the central figure of Edouard Lock’s company LALALA Human Steps, and also his muse, for almost two decades. Her motif of exemplary, audacious, acrobatic jump technique was a signature for the group. Lecavalier has worked as a freelance dancer since 1998. In 1999 she was awarded Canada’s most important prize for dance, the Jean A. Chalmers National Award.
