Jan Versweyveld

Jan Versweyveld studied at the Sint Lucas Institute in Brussels and at the Royal Academy in Antwerp. As a set designer he works internationally in theatre, opera and dance. Versweyveld was closely affiliated to Eindhoven’s Het Zuidelijk Toneel during the 1990s, and has designed sets for Toneelgroep Amsterdam since 2001. Jan Versweyveld works regularly with Ivo van Hove, the choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and the director Johan Simons.
