RuhrTriennale 2005

The second RuhrTriennale, directed by Jürgen Flimm, opened with a massive celebration held in the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum on 20 August. One of the 2005 season's main focuses was on the simultaneous development of both the Romantic Movement and the Industrial Revolution. We invited authors, directors, conductors, musicians and artists to set out on a journey back through time to the early 19th century.
