Online
The choice is yours: either print out your tickets in the comfort of your own home – in which case bookings can be made up to three hours before the event begins. Or you can receive your tickets by post (additional charge of 4,50 € per delivery), – in which case booking is necessary up to four days before the performance. Payment is by credit card or direct debit. Find your tickets on this website by selecting your prefered event in the calendar.

Box office
Box offices open one hour before the performance or event. Information as to whether tickets will still be available from the box office can be obtained from our ticket hotline.

You can find information on measures and regulations relating to Corona on the special page on Corona. Here you will also find information on the reimbursement of ticket costs in the event of event cancellation or illness.

Early-bird discount Until 27 June 2021 inclusive, there is a discount of 15 % on ticket sales.

50% Children / school pupils / students (up to and including the age of 30) will receive a discount of 50% on all available tickets on presentation of relevant i.d. This cannot be combined with the early bird discount.

Last-Minute - Children / school pupils / students (up to and including the age of 30) can also purchase last minute tickets from 30 minutes before the start of the performance for 10 € subject to availability. These reductions are also available to those engaged in Federal voluntary service, those in training and the unwaged. Please have your i.d. ready at the point of admittance.

Classes of 10 pupils or more may book tickets at a price of 5 € per pupil. Tickets must be booked at least seven working-days in advance:

The tickets are valid on the day of the event in the entire Rhine-Ruhr transport network (VRR) on all buses and local trains (2nd class) for the outward and return journey to and from the venue. The tickets are valid on the day of the visit until 3.00 a.m. the following day. The tickets are not transferable.

With the RuhrKultur.Card you receive onetime free entrance in each of the 20 participating
RuhrKunstMuseen and one halfpriced performance ticket for each of the 11 RuhrBühnen as well as for the five participating festivals. The RuhrKultur.Card costs 45 € and can be obtained online: www.ruhrkulturcard.de

RuhrKultur.Card holders receive a 50 % discount on one ticket of their choice in the 2nd price category (subject to availability, premieres excluded). Redeemable only via the ticket hotline and at the box office.
