Katja Cheraneva was born in 1988 in Moscow, Russia. She studied Classical and Contemporary Dance in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Frankfurt. From 2010 to 2015 she was a dancer with the Forsythe Company. As a freelance dancer and choreographer, she has participated in numerous projects with international artists such as Fabrice Mazliah, Frances Chiaverini, BernRetour and the MichelDouglas Collective.
