Johanna Trudzinski

Johanna Trudzinski studied fashion design at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and graduated in 2006 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
Trudzinski is since 2002 co-founder and member of the design team of the German fashion label Hui-Hui, that operates from Tokyo to New York and releases two collections a year. In addition she has worked for the famous Belgian fashion designer A.F. Vandevorst.
She began her career as a costume designer for opera and theater at the artistic team of Ola Mafaalani and Ko van den Bosch at the Noord Nederlands Toneel, one of the biggest theatre companies of the Netherlands, housed in Groningen. She has put her artistic signature under a lot of NNT productions, such as Frankenstein by d'Electrique (2008), Teiresias (2011), Alice in Wonderland (2011), Don Juan (2012), Fellini (2013), De laatkomer (2014) , Much to do about nothing (2015) and Sneeuwwitje (2016).
She also worked for Toneelhuis Antwerpen, Het Paleis Antwerpen, Koninklijke Vlaamse Schouwburg Brussel, Het Amsterdamse Bostheater and other theatre and opera houses in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
