Plaster, Nylons and Paint – a studio for creating spaces and bodily forms: Inspired by the installation ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ and other work by Atelier Van Lieshout in this workshop we will make our own sculptures out of plaster. Using this material, which was already well-known to the Ancient Egyptians, and everyday objects such as nylon stockings, kebab skewers and toothpicks you can create both abstract spaces and human figures – there are no limits to your imagination! You can then increase the impact of your pieces by finishing them with bright acrylic paint.
For young people aged between 12 and 16. Participation is free of charge. Only 15 places are available, so please register through email@example.com.
