Tim Löhde was born in Radevormwald in 1990. He began studies with Andreas Gursky in 2011 at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, continuing his studies with Marcel Odenbach in 2014. The emphasis of his work is placed on sound installations that explore musical narrative structures, referring to existing spaces (Pausengong, 2015), sites (Druckvariationen, Lanzarote, 2014), or everyday objects (Wir bekamen Luft, 2014). In addition he works on spatial and video installations (Mein Leben auf Stangen, or Band, both from 2014). In 2014 he presented the performance Fürsorge at OLGA Wuppertal and participated in a video and sound installation for BRXT For Lovers at Theaterfestival Favoriten in Dortmund. At Ruhrtriennale 2015, Tim Löhde will be working together with Jens Kothe.
