Sergio Giuseppe Scarlatella starts his acting career in 1989 as part oft he Teatro Bibiena company in Bologna, Italy. Ever since he has been part of several theater companies as Teatro dell’Idra, Edoardo ll Teatro TBC Co. and Compagnia Bassini – Bruni. From 2001 to 2009 Scarlatella has worked with the Monticelli brothers on numerous productions as part of the Teatro del Drago in Ravenna.
Scarlatellas collaboration with Romeo Castellucci starts in 2001 when the Italian actor tours with Castelluccis production of Giulio Cesare as Cassius through Europe and the US. Following this success Scarlatella acts in numerous productions by Castellucci, which tour throughout the world. In 2014 he plays in Silvia Costas production of CUORE at the Teatro Grande Brescia, Italy.
Starting in 1993, Scarlatella also organizes and conducts training courses for actors. He teaches acting at schools and colleges an prepares theaterworkshops with teachers.
