Jan-Philipp Possmann
Jan-Philipp Possmann, born in Frankfurt/Main, studied Theater- and Political-Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin. He worked as assistant director and assistant dramaturg at TAT, Frankfurt/Main, Opera Frankfurt and Hebbel Am Ufer, Berlin. From 1999 to 2007 he directed and produced several theater performances in Berlin. As dramaturg and producer he worked together with Rimini Protokoll, Christoph Winkler, Oliver Sturm, Electronic Music Theater, WILHELM GROENER and repeatedly with David Weber-Krebs. From 2005 to 2007 he curated and directed the international performance festival Plateauxat Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt/Main. 2007/2008 he was the dramaturg of Sophiensaele, Berlin. Currently he works as dramaturg for Internationale Schillertage, Nationaltheater Mannheim and as Artistic Researcher at the Amsterdam School of the Arts.
