#NOFEAR: ON AIR!

The Safe Space goes online: On Saturday, November 14, at 3 p.m., the Junge Triennale opens a digital exhibition with results from artistic workshops that have taken place in the past months at the Safe Space project site in Duisburg-Hochfeld. From your sofa at home, you can browse through films, podcast episodes, images, photos and songs. Sometimes a work of art, sometimes a documentary - discover how children and young people deal artistically with the topic of the future. Have fun!

You can find the digital exhibition #nofear: on air! at jungetriennale.de.

#nofear is in Duisburg-Hochfeld and working with children and young people to explore their wishes, along with the emerging artists’ collective Mit Ohne Alles and teaching staff from local schools. They are particularly interested in the future and the question of what art and culture should be like in future. In the Safe Space young people experiment in their own forms, with formats and content for the non-conference #no fear in here! supported by artists, experts and the Junge Triennale. The non-conference is open to cultural education specialists and professionals from cultural institutions, politicians, teachers, children, young people and interested members of the audience. Over the course of the Ruhrtriennale, all of them will examine the future. What the non-conference #no fear in here is going to look like and which aspects of the future the participants will deal with is currently being developed, researched, tested and re-thought at the Junge Triennale’s laboratory, the Safe Space.
